My friend and I noticed how disconnected Nepali youth in New York, especially NYC, are from one another, and we created this organization to help Nepali youth in our community come together, stay connected, and achieve greatness.
Founded in May 2026, Nepali Youth Society is a 501(c)(3)-registered nonprofit rooted in New York City. We organize gatherings, mentorship circles, and service projects across the boroughs. We're independent of political parties and any single religious institution, and our events are open to anyone who feels a tie to Nepal — by birth, by family, or by chosen kinship.
Every event should feel like someone saved you a seat. We invest in the small things — name tags, shared meals, introductions made on purpose.
Our finances, leadership transitions, and decisions are documented and shared with members. Trust is built in public.
We choose depth over reach. We'd rather run a great Saturday in Queens than a flashy event nobody remembers.
